Checking Door and Lock status

Why does my app say that the door is open? What does door vs lock status mean?

Answer

When getting the door lock status, you will see the door status and the lock status.

Lock status tells if the lock is currently locked or unlocked. 

Door status tells if the door is open or closed. This status is based on the door sensor. This door sensor is currently in development.
